WhatsApp these days, and for good reason. The Facebook-owned app offers encrypted messaging, free phone

there.
But that isn’t everything WhatsApp has to offer. Here are three fun WhatsApp hacks you probably never knew about and should totally try out:

Use some bold text and italics to get your point across: While WhatsApp is great for many things, sensing your tone is not one of them. And you can’t blame it, really. But all hope is not lost though. You can bolden words by adding an asterisk before and after the word (like this: *Bold*), italicise by adding an underscore before and after the word (like this: _Italics_), and strikethrough by adding a tildes before and after the word (like this: ~Strikeone~).

Use WhatsApp on your laptop: It is actually surprising that a lot of people don’t know about this. WhatsApp has a web version which is nifty if you are at work and you don’t want to keep picking up your phone to respond to messages. Simply type “web.whatsapp.com” into your browser and follow the instructions. You now have WhatsApp on your computer, don’t say I never did anything for you.
